DISCOUNT TILES – FULL TERMS & CONDITIONS OF SALE
1.COMPANY DETAILS
Discount Tiles is a trading name of Style Tyle Manchester Ltd. References to Discount Tiles, the Company, we, our or us refer to Style Tyle Manchester Ltd trading as Discount Tiles.
2. ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS
By paying a deposit, placing an order, accepting a quotation, collecting goods or accepting delivery, the Customer confirms acceptance of these Terms & Conditions. Payment of a deposit forms a legally binding contract.
3. ORDERS
Customers are responsible for checking all quantities, measurements, dimensions, colours, finishes, specifications, shades, calibres and product selections before ordering. Any advice or quantity calculations provided are estimates only.
4. SPECIAL ORDER, IMPORTED & NON-STOCK GOODS
All Special Order, Imported, Non-Stock, Bespoke, Made-to-Order, Clearance, Promotional, Discontinued and End-of-Line products are strictly Non-Cancellable, Non-Returnable and Non-Refundable once ordered from the supplier or manufacturer. Deposits are non-refundable. Customers remain liable for the full purchase price of goods ordered specifically on their behalf.
5. RETURNS
Returns of stocked goods may be accepted at the sole discretion of Discount Tiles. Returned goods must be unused, undamaged, in original packaging and suitable for resale.
Stocked tile returns will only be accepted where the returned goods match a current stock line and Discount Tiles holds the same shade (tono), calibre and product at the time of return. Discount Tiles reserves the right to refuse returns where matching stock is unavailable.
No returns are accepted for special orders, imported goods, clearance products, adhesives, grouts, sealants, underfloor heating products or installed products.
6. TILE VARIATIONS & SAMPLES
Tiles may vary in shade, colour, texture, pattern, size and calibre. Samples, displays, catalogues, websites and social media images are guides only. Many tile ranges are manufactured with multiple faces and random patterns. Customers may receive tiles with different faces, graphics, veining and markings than those shown on samples. This is not a defect.
7. DELIVERY, DAMAGE & SHORTAGES
All goods must be inspected immediately upon delivery. If goods are not opened and inspected while the driver is present, Discount Tiles shall not be responsible for damage reported after the driver has left. Missing, damaged or incorrect items must be reported within 24 hours and supported with photographs.
8. DELIVERY TIMES & DELAYS
All delivery dates and lead times are estimates only and are not guaranteed. Discount Tiles accepts no liability for delays caused by manufacturers, suppliers, freight companies, customs, weather, transport providers or events beyond our control.
Customers must not book tilers, contractors or tradespeople until all goods have been received, inspected and confirmed suitable for installation. No liability is accepted for labour costs, cancellation fees, project delays, loss of earnings or consequential losses arising from delivery delays.
9. STORAGE OF GOODS
Discount Tiles reserves the right to charge storage fees where goods remain uncollected or delivery is delayed at the customer’s request. Storage charges must be paid before release of goods.
10. INSPECTION PRIOR TO INSTALLATION
All goods must be inspected before cutting, fixing, installation or use. No claims will be accepted once products have been cut, installed, modified or used. Installation constitutes acceptance of the goods.
11. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
Liability is limited to the invoice value of the goods supplied. Discount Tiles shall not be liable for labour costs, removal costs, project delays, loss of profit, loss of earnings or consequential losses.
12. OWNERSHIP OF GOODS
Ownership remains with Style Tyle Manchester Ltd trading as Discount Tiles until full payment has been received and cleared.
13. FORCE MAJEURE
Discount Tiles shall not be liable for delays or failures caused by events beyond its reasonable control including supplier failures, transport disruption, weather, natural disasters, pandemics or government action.
14. GOVERNING LAW
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales and subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Courts of England and Wales.
